very nice for a first wheelgun. love the colt royal blue finish. now, you need to search for the rare 3" barrel version.

hehe thanks everyone. Gun shoots better than it looks. was hard enough to find a python in the condition, I wasn't about to be picky about the original wood grips or the barrel length. 2.5" are hard to find, but I'll eventually own one, that and a 4" version as well. Original wood grips are ~180-250 depending on condition.

My next gun will be a bolt-gun most likely.

been shooting a lot of guns/items on the aluminum background. Took the side off my old computer case (lian li PC60) and it makes a great background. not bad

That is a BEAUTIFUL Model 41!

I could never get mine to cycle correctly, but when it worked, it was a tack-driver.
