Rifle Talk - Robinson Arms XCR

Well, my search for a Sig 556 is bearing no fruit. Either they can't be found, or dealers want an arm and a leg for them. So, I'm moving on.

Does anyone have any experience with the XCR from Robinson Arms? I'm finding it very interesting.

Re: Rifle Talk - Robinson Arms XCR

Was that you that started that Sig thead a month back?
If so, I too was looking at that rifle, and I showed a friend the thread.

Turned out he had 3 AR15s, and he sold me one.
I already modified it a bit by putting on a rail on the lower handguard and adding a Grip Pod to it.

Grip Pod Systems™

I will be changing the stock out later to a modded one.

This one uses the NATO Federal 5.56 ammo which I picked up a ton online last week.

That was me. No luck finding one (at a reasonable price).

The AR in your pics looks sweet! I love that you have the black rifle website up in the background as well! Nice touch.

The XCR was getting some pretty good reviews on that site so it seemed like it might be a good option. Plus they are available at prices that don't make you feel like you've been sent to a Turkish prison.

I've shot them, I like um. I don't own one. You didn't have any luck with Gunbroker.com? on the Sig? If not I would check back daily, they get new guns on there all the time, it just takes some time to find the right price.

Cool, if you are looking for a good case too, the guy I bought the AR from had a Blackhawk Homeland Security Discreet case.
BLACKHAWK ! Homeland Security Discreet Weapons Carry Case

He did not let it go, I had to buy my own case.
It is very nice, and has separate compartments.

Here is a pic of it in the case before I added on the Grip Pod.

I hope to get up to the mountains before to long shoot this.
