Well... I have been reading a lot on this bill and must say I am very conflicted, if it's the only option for improving our immigration policy in this land then I say MAYBE it's better than nothing but I seriously worry about our ability to actually implement a policy this complicated many parts of which are not specifc enough to know how it will actually be realized and no funding is specified for most of it and the bill wasnt even 'scored' by the Senate which score tells the Senators how much the total cost will be (something which they should be doing for really any bill). I am all for immigration. Only legal immigration though.
I do not believe in amnesty or rewarding people for breaking the law. I also think the last amnesty in the 80's didn't slove a damn thing and probably only helped fuel many of the problems we have now with illegals.
It is a bit of a catch 22 however.
At the same time I would like to see those who are here and productive stay here becasue we do need them.
Requiring them to pay fines and travel back to their country of origin might no t be financialy possible for many.
It's a tough call but obvious that the current system is broken.

How about if we made sure and referenced FJ's during the discussion? Such as: How many trips per FJ built would it take to transport all of the illegal aliens back to their own country.... and what mods would need to be made to make the trip...?
The edit already in this Country cost us, the taxpayers, an estimated
90 BILLION DOLLARS in provided services PER YEAR.
Now, take that number and divide it by the FJ price, say, 30k.
I'm too pissed to even do basic math anymore.
