Remembering those who've made the ultimate sacrifice

Fly your flags today...

It is the Soldier (Airman, Marine, Sailor and Coastie), not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag. - Charles M. Province

Re: Remembering those who've made the ultimate sacrifice

We need to show more sympathy for these people!!! They travel miles in the heat, they risk their lives crossing a border, they don't get paid enough wages, they do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do and they live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language. They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day every day.

I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans, I'm talking about our troops.

Thanks to all who serve!

Re: Remembering those who've made the ultimate sacrifice

I always fly my stars and stripes everyday for those who have and those who will do the difficult but honerable task of protecting us and ours.

P.s. I go through alot of flags.
