What You All Do For a Living?

New to the forums, sorry if this has been posted before, but I enjoy seeing what people do for a living to pay for our toys?

I'm a Team Leader in a pretty big machine shop that manufactures Natural Gas Compressors. Been a machinist for about 10 years now. I tested torpedoes on the Navy before this on Vancouver Island BC.

Work as a Power Engineer in a 110 MW Cogeneration plant. Worked as an Electrical Engineer many years ago but this got to be too much sitting in an office. I probably run/maintain one of those gas compressors you make.

Re: What You All Do For a Living?

CAT Operations Engineer-Transmissions
Project at the moment is transforming an assembly plant from stall/job build areas to flow lines.

If you seen something big and yellow, working in a quarry or construction site it has one our transmissions in it.

Best part is having driven almost all the model range. I want to do 797 truck, but the best has been the D11R.

Moved to the US after 8 years with CAT in Europe.

Self-employed geologist; I generate oil and gas drilling prospects. I find the gas your compressors compress, Ksunami.
