Working In A Mazda 3... (pics Inside) Nothing Like Toyota...

My g/f left to texas to visit her mom and left me here mazda 3, basically it had some problems like check the check engine light on and it was boging on accelerations and felt slugish, finally i fixed the problem yesturday. Took apart the whole intake manifold, spark plugs, throttle body, air filter and injectors and cleaned the hell out of them and finally fixed the problem and it runs like new!. I also installed a CAI, a front grill, made the fog lights yellow and recplace the ES emblem with a mazdaspeed sticker, added some xenon blue (white) 9005's and 9006's head light and corner lights, and a sport muffler will soon come. I also added some kuhmo ectas spt tires about a month ago, sorry i dont have any before pics, i forget, but it was basically bone stock. I must say it was a nightmare, moments like this make me think and say nothing like toyota... the car was in the dealership for warranty for over 2 months and the stupid mechanics couldnt find the problem... and i fixed it in a weekend and trust me i am no mechanic. I told her not to get a mazda, to get a corolla but she wanted the damn car for the looks... looks arent everything i told her... she is finally coming to her senses and now wants to trade it in for a corolla or a matrix...

here are some pics

The only car Mazda really knows how to build is a Miata. Very few problems with them (minus the 1.6L early production engines) Mazda does offer a lot of bang for the buck on initial purchase, though. Usually Mazda 3's are very nicely equipped compared to competitors for the price. I would've probably bought the 3 as well...the Carolla is soooooo damn ugly!

Nice video. You mentioned that it was you Vs. brother. Who was holding the video camera as you were racing?

Re: Working In A Mazda 3... (pics Inside) Nothing Like Toyota...

the corollas are ugly but you will never get the problems you get in the mazda 3. I love how the 3 looks, awsome candy red metal paint, sunroof, nice wheels, 6 cd changer, sporty looking interiors, sport transmision (at/mt)but the engine.... why would they only get 150hp out of a 2.3L ?? and its kind of slow and thirsty for gas. Its the same as the ford focus st, just like the mazda6= same as the ford fusion. After having a 2003 little 1.8 toyota matrix in the house and never, i mean never getting a check engine light on, or a boging engine and no problems what so ever at all, IMO, i would buy a corolla instead of a 3
