I have been doing my part to get these surburban mall getters to wave. Whenever I pass a FJ, and I don't get a wave, then I follow them to where they are going. The moment they step out, I run up to them, with my Louiseville slugger, and break their knee caps. The entire time, I'm shouting things like "Next time I see ya, you better be waving". I have definately noticed more and more people around my hometown waving at me.

This is called the Robert DeNiro aproach, and very effective if you can pull it off without getting sent up for 25 to life.

I don't wave anymore, I got tired of looking like the village idiot and no one waving back.

Over my what...five months of owning my FJ, I've only gotten say...two waves? One Voodoo Blue and one Silver Titanium. The Voodoo Blue lives right down the road from me. All of the Sun Fusions and Black Cherrys that I have seen around here (sept my buddies Sun Fusion) have all been young and old ladies with 2WD FJs that don't even blink an eye at you if you're laying on your horn, lights flashing and hands flailing. JEEPERS wave to my FJ more than FJERS!!!
