On my way home today I had to cross puddle of water in the road that appeared to be about 2.5" deep. I was boxed in by a montero sport on the left, a tailgater behind me, and a curb on the right, so I decided to ford this puny puddle at about 25 mph. Once I hit it and water completely covered my FJ (roof included) I glanced over to see an open window on the montero sport; I think I got the passenger. I know that there wasn't much else I could do in that situation, but I still feel like a jackass.
We always go for puddles. We just do. Sorry if anyone is standing there, or someone has an open window. I guess that makes us bigger, fatter jerks - we must have these puddles.......

I do tend to aim for them, but this time was an exception. Granted, I did enjoy it until I saw the passenger ducking for cover.
One day , a new apprentice drove our company truck.
The Winter Streets of Manhattan full of slush water.
A wedding party was in front of the St Regis Hotel.
He aimed the truck at this deep lake of curb slush and water.
A tidal wave ..a tsunami of street slush and water totally drenched them...from head to toe....
It all happened in slow motion......the horror..............
