A-Basin opened today! I just drove by there on Sunday and saw the snow making and figured at least 3 more weeks. I have to say, looked a little suicidal to be going this early...

I know what you mean. I have been working in Austin during the weeks, daily temps are in the mid to upper 90s. Uhhh!

I try to ski twice a week, have the Colorado Pass, so I got good coverage. I like Copper a lot too. So name the date and time. I like to ski a bit more remote and stay on bump/un-groomed runs, with occasional out of bounds skiing (not until Jan/Feb though). The deeper the powder the better!
