I almost hit a goat !!!
When I got to work this morning, my cohort noticed I was about 30 minutes later than I'd planned to be there. He asked me if there was a problem. I said yes, that I'd almost hit a goat on the way to work. He said, "Oh, well, that would've been terrible, I'm glad you're okay". After a few seconds, he said, "Wait a minute, you said you "almost" hit a goat and you're 30 minutes late? Didn't you just swerve around him and come on down the road?". I said, "Who said he was in the road? He was all the way on the other side of a big field and I liked to of never caught him. That little dude could really maneuver.THAT'Swhy I'm 30 minutes late.
