Not sure if this link has been posted in the 20+ pages of this thread but here is a site dedicated to past and future end of the world predictions. It is actually a pretty funny read.

Re: December 21, 2012
Whatever is about to happen, our government has tried to conceal this knowledge. However, the seriousness of the near events (whatever they may be) are now so grave and so manifest in todays world that they cannot be hidden any longer. For example, the atmosphere forming on the moon, and the polar ice caps on Mars that are suddenly not RED any longer but rather are showing up a blue-ish green over vast areas on our sister planet. We know that two or three of the outer planets have recently undergone a pole shift and it looks like we're next. The galaxy we're moving into is a much more energetic place and those energies are going to change everything and everyone on the planet earth as their effects are fully felt. And all is related to the vast approaching Nibiru, still coincidence ?
It will all end , It doesnt matter when.
The world is a bad place to live anyway......
The basic design of life on earth is horrible....
A world where to live , you must kill something , to eat , to survive.
COOL! Is that what the main character.....I'm guessing Tom Cruise.......drives???
No Tom Cruise (thank God) it is written as a true story actually I don't now if I am taking it as one though
