What are your plans for putting dead bodies in the back of your FJ? I was thinking of using this calf sled to keep the blood contained.

Bone it out first...cools faster, easier to carry long distances, less mess in the truck.

I just like the way that sounds.

My goal this year is to stuff an entire elk in the back.

Re: Deer hunting season yet?

Deer are a little smaller out here and I think they would fit in the back. But we aren't using MY FJ for hauling. That blood and gut smell is better in the back of my dad's pick up. Not a big fan of boning in the field. I like to let my meat cure in the locker for a bit. The elk on the other hand definitely gets quartered and stripped where it lays! Those are way too heavy for this little girl!
And, yes, I can't wait for the season to start!

I wonder at what point that buck figured out he was trying to mount a decoy? It's amazing how stupid deer can become during the rut. I would have loved to see that gator when he first grabbed the deer.
