I own several Gerber knives and a multi-tool. I've been looking at the Gerber axe at Cabelas and other places. I just like their stuff.

Little Random Fact...

The gerber baby was blown up off of san clemente island in 1979 when he was pulling up his nets and snagged a mine. When my dad was a commercial sword fisherman, the gerber baby (adult then..lol) was part of the small fleet they had.

Re: Found this while i was cruising around.....

WOW Dom. There is a random bit of information just learned.

Check this out guys. Look at it on the internet at Quartermaster – Police Equipment, Security Uniforms, Military Supplies These guys are opening a new police store in Santa Ana Saturday Jan 26. They are having a 20% off sale on walk in's. You don't need to be a cop to shop. I buy stuff there all the time at the Long Beach location. They do not sell lights or sirens if thats your bag. But all kinds of other cool LEO stuff. I doubt they will have an Axe for sale.

Re: Found this while i was cruising around.....

if you get s surefire G2 though, get the G2 LED. its like $30 bucks more, but you will get a really good and durable LED setup and longer run time. which in turn will save you money since you will have to not replace any bulbs ever, and you wont be replacing the batteries nearly as often.
