Flashlight 4100 Lumens

Check this out. I'm gettin' one.

"Engadget is reporting that Wicked Lasers has introduced The Torch. It is the world's brightest and most powerful flashlight. The Flashlight is capable of melting plastic, lighting paper on fire within seconds, and if you like, fry an egg or a marshmallow on a stick. At 4100 lumens, The Torch is 100 lumens more powerful than The Polarion Helios, the former most powerful flashlight, and retails for around $300. The Torch is apparently also undergoing review at the Guinness Book of World Records."

What good is all that light if it only runs for 15 min.

Re: Flashlight 4100 Lumens

Sounds like you can do a lot of damage with that 'flash' light. Blind people, set things on fire, etc... I wonder if you'll need a license (or a badge) to get one.

What happens if you forget to turn it off and set it down on it's end?

Re: Flashlight 4100 Lumens

I guess it'll be like a flash going off right in front of your eyes except it'll be on for 15 min. Impressive. Build something crazy and someone will find a good use for it.

Re: Flashlight 4100 Lumens

I read somewhere that it weighs it at 300 buckaroos. I'll stick with the TaskForce $30 light and a pack of matches.
