McCains speech is good (giving right now to the CPAC), I am feeling better about the fact that I will support him. If nothing else he trys hard to be a man of his word which most politicans cant say.
my vote goes to someone that shares my values and could win, because without one or the other, the vote doesnt help. he lacks in the later category eventhough i do have shots of libertarian in my blood...
McCain is trusted by the political establishment insiders in Washington on both sides of the aisle. He won't upset any apple carts and will keep the ship of state in the same direction.
Romney couldn't be "trusted" and in the end, they'd have torpedoed him. The same is true with Paul and Huckabee who had even less of a chance than Romney or McCain.
