But because I am a conservative I will now back McCain because
1) he will appoint constructionist judges (we have 6 over 60yrs old right now)
2) he will not allow failure in Iraq
3) he will stop the wasteful spending (and hopefully restrict entitlements)
4) he hopefully has learned that Americans want the border secured!
5) he will protect the 2nd ammendment
and that is a hell of a lot more than we will get from any democrat

Frogeye..........you gotta vote, man! If you don't vote, and Billary wins--you have nobody to blame but yourself! I am a conservative, but I think 8 years of Clintons surrounded by 12 years of Bushes........that's enough. That is why I was pushing for Romney.
It's not about Iraq anyways...........unless Obama gets in. He pulls everyone out of Iraq--it falls to Al Qaeda--and we have $20 per gallon gas. Next election: Republicans win--bomb the crap out of Iraq--and establish "New Texas" in the middle east. Gas drops to $0.39/gallon.
It's just a vicious cycle. Conservatism for a while, then liberalism for a while. The WORST part is the Supreme Court Justices that the next Prez will nominate and put in. THEIR TERM IS FOR LIFE! You don't get to vote them out of office for sucking!

That wouldn't happen, but Iran would move in and take control (either directly or through their Shiite proxies in Iraq) and be in a strategic position to exercise control over the flow of oil from just about everywhere in the Middle East.
I mean, I'll vote but I'm not really stoked with my choices. It's time for our country to do something about the borders and our homeland security. McCain wants Amnesty for all illegals. He's preaching the fix the border but I'm afraid that he's thinking NAFTA and open borders in disguise. He'll talk the talk about being hard with the border and I bet he does jack chit. I keep hearing the Bush "We've got to do something about our borders" BS line going through my head from his Presidential Campaign. I'm all for work visas for the so-called jobs Americans won't do BS too. My family came to the USA Legally and God dam it, I think that anyone wanting to be a part of our great country should do it Legally too! Ya this is a big issue for me. Rant over.

Considering the choices before us, GWB could actually look good by comparison. I've never been so dissatisfied with a President I voted for--twice-- but I'm not so sure I wouldn't for him again if he could seek a 3rd term versus the current crop now before us.
I know it's been said umpteen times before but can you imagine bush-clinton-bush-clinton...
What would be next? Jeb Bush? Followed by Chelsea? Followed by game show host Billy Bush?
