The only way he could do that would be to appoint a conservative judge to the Supreme Court if there was a vacancy (and then have that nominee confirmed by the Senate; which wouldn't happen with the Democrats in control of the Senate), and I have a hard time imagining him doing that, inasmuch as he was overheard saying that he considered Samuel Alito too conservative during Alito's confirmation hearings. Worst case, a new addition to the court would vote with the conservative wing of the court to overturn Roe v Wade and throw it back to the states, where it really belongs. I personally believe a woman should have the right to choose, but it defies belief to see anywhere in the Constitution where it defines that right. It should have always been a state issue; and while some states might make it illegal given the option, a number of them would not, so the right could still be exercised but it might require some travel.
And the Kalifornia Republik is getting worse. I'm quite seriously contemplating a second home purchase in AZ so that I can claim AZ residency. Move my finances to that state and split my time between the two homes.

Jeebis, there are WAY better states than here..... How old are your kids? You do NOT want them to go to school here....even the colleges.....

You might want to reconsider and think about NV AZ is turning into a second California. It's really sad, two beautiful states turning into over populated high tax states.
I wouldn't mind living on the out skirts of Carson City NV on the back side of Lake Tahoe I would imagine housing is fairly affordable there and you have Lake Tahoe about 30-45min away.

I don't even like the THREAT of it being overturned.... Constitution be damned on this issue, I'm sorry.
I guess the upside of it overturned is that I might have an easier time adopting in the USA, should I so choose to do that in the future.
I have always thought all it does it teach kids that there is no consequences for your actions. If you don't want a kid don't have sex or use protection. Please don't bring up the what ifs of rape.... I am think more of the majority that get them. Thanks Mcloven just wanting to get a better understanding of your side
