Consumer reports is good, but ridiculous sometimes. They rate sports cars bad because of comfort, tough and hard ride and no storage space. Well duh, it's a sports car.

I would really like to know what kind of criteria C/R uses for it's tests. On the crappy roads here in Quebec my FJ rides smoother than my wife's Accord. And as for visibility...that is why it has side mirrors. The visibility in my old Chevy pick with cab on the back.....that was bad. I have the C/R magazine that tests all SUVs and pick ups. They gave higher ratings to vehicles with horrible reliabilty, bad resale value and poor consumer satisfaction just because they performed marginally well on the slalom course. BTW the FJ was tops in consumer satisfaction. That should tell them something eh!!
