I hear ya though, no such thing as a bad dog just bad pack leaders.
Yes sir! I hate seeing little thug wannabe's hangin out on the streets in the city with their PitBulls. The city is no place for a big active dog.
There is a ban in Ontario against Pits and we are fighting to get a "deemed responsible owner" type of license to only allow certain people (responsible, enough time, large fenced yard) to own these dogs. And tougher punishment for the "others". I hate catching a bad rap for my pits. They have had nothing but positive reinforced training since 8 weeks old. They are a loving part of my family.

Thats awesome !, i go to the humance society around here and volunteer about every weekend. Its so sad to see how many pitbulls are in there right now. I treat them like any other dog and have seen a few that i would love to have because they are so sweet, but i dont have the time for a dog right now, so i voulunteer there a day or so a week. Its kinda like having a whole bunch of dogs lol

I have two pitbulls. One is pure american pit the other is american pit mixed with great dane.( ya I know crazy mix, I saved her from the pound. just imagine a taller, longer pitbull. stands about 5 ft high on her hind legs )
These dogs are amazing, they are very kind and caring and sweet natured. Very loyal, very intellegent. In my experiance with my pitbulls they are very Sensitive. So if someone yells at them and beats them constatnly, they take it very harshly and eventually snap.BUT on the flip side, as I have had both my pits from young ages, they are vey sensitive to love, and they give it back ten fold! ITS NOT THE BREED, ITS THE BAD OWNERS! It's all the people that take an innocent animal, pure, and corrupt it. It breaks my heart to hear people wish genocide on an amazing and very well engineered breed over what mankind turns them into.
This is a very touchy subject for me. F**k all the dog fighters out there, Karma is a b**ch! It will come back to you. Animal cruelty is pathetic!
