Amazing things seen in Nature

Lets here about some of the really amazing or neat things you've seen or felt while roaming the great outdoors.

One time I was on a hill back in the woods and heard an animal running towards me. Looked around to my right side, and suddenly a rabbit appeared running down the hill for it's life. Thought it was going to hit me as it came within a few feet. As I stood there Wondering what was going on, a fox suddenly came into view on the crest of the hill and quickly ran by me as well. Following the fox was a crow that was trying to keep up between the trees. Oh he new what he was about to be getting. Happened so fast, almost didn't even believe what I had seen haha.

Re: Amazing things seen in Nature

I got to spend a few days right on the edge of a large lek of booming prairie chickens with a friend of mine who was doing a behavioral study. It's hard to relate what the noises - a caucophany of dozens of loud displaying and fighting birds. We were in a ground blind and at times, we were completely surrounded. Things got even more interesting when the hens started coming in.

Here's a taste of what it was like - but it was much more exciting being there (I just found the video on YouTube - not related to my friends study):
