The new bed is here. I managed to knock the price down from $1800 to $1100 -- not too shabby. But it's huge! It comes up to my waist and both of us have to literally climb up it. Notice the 6" lift. Next I'll get bigger, knobbier tires for it and maybe some sliders and skids to boot.

From what I understand these are permanently lubed at the factory, so the Royal Purple stays in the bottle for now.

Looks like sliders will be an absolute necessity in order to make it safely to ground level.

You could probably reach terminal velocity in the time it would take you to hit the ground if you fell off.
