Spike TV - Extreme 4x4

So today I am watching what I thought would be a really good show, only to learn that the folks on this show tend not to think about the damage they cause on the trails.
On todays episode, they apologized for winching w/o a tree saver strap. At least they aplogized, but the fact remains that they aired a showed where they broke a wheeling rule of respect for the environment and it is no wonder tree huggers want wheelers away from public lands.
Then as the showed ended, they showed some bloopers/mistakes in the show...one of them shows their Toyota catching fire and then you hear someone say silently "We have no fire extinguisher, let it burn off"...Gee, that is a really smart wheeling example, especially for those who live in dry areas, such as Cali, where the smallest flame will burn 1000's of acres of land.

Follow FJ'ers, let these stupid shows be an example of what NOT to do! Use common sense and respect the land you wheel on...use tree savers, have a working fire extinguisher and please please take your trash with you.

That's all....thanks for reading.

Well the tape also passed through about 10 peoples hands before it was aired. It should never have made the final cut.

As posted, it was probably not on "public" land (we have so much of that around here). It was probably filmed where the Squire suggested.

Wooley is not known to be that sensitive to the fate of his trees.

(in other words......it's VDM approved )
