I think the paintball gun is a good idea . First he trips the motions w/ floods and then you pepper his ass good about 10-20 times and call police and tell them what colors paint to look for!! You could modify paint with some mace chem. orsomething that would burn his ass good!! Good luck and be safe..

Then when you have an image of his face, go to kinkos and print up warning flyers for your neighbors and schools. Submit the pic to your local police and news channel...They'll catch him fast then.

This is some great advice! If you get the back yard fenced then I'd say put down a bear trap or maybe some claymore mines! In one respect you want to catch the Perv and inflict some pain, on the other hand you don't want to face serious charges and sued for wrongful death!

He also informed me that they've had some issues with prowlers, and have sometimes found little "puddles" where they were watching through peoples windows. I *will* be doing some midnight "sneek and peeks" around my house now. If I catch him in my yard again I'm going to be testing that new Florida law about shooting first.

OMG that is Horrible!!!! I am a mother and have a wonderful son. He is almost 21 and going to be a senior in college next year. He would NEVER do something like that. I just know my kid too well. That guy you spotted is just EVIL!!!!! I would probably have unloaded my gun on him as I have a really bad temper and if someone were threatening my son, I would probably try to OFF them. The mother instinct in us females is very very strong!!!

Definitely have to put that one down. I'd recommend large caliber, can't have him wounded and able to sue. If you have to pull the trigger - do the damn thing. Well, today we went to Gander Mtn. and got an infrared game camera. It will not flash, just get some decent night-time infrared photos. That is just step 1 - to determine if he is still around and possibly try to figure out his routine if he comes back. If I have already succeeded in scaring him off for good, the game-cam will help me determine that. Step 2 - As an old USMC veteran I know how to man a guard post. If he decides to come back I will catch him. Part of me wants to scare him off, as that is the simplest solution. The other part of me wants to castrate him with my ka-bar.
This is not one of daughters friends. She moved in with me and her Mom about 5 months ago and decided to be home schooled for the remainder of this school year, so she doesn't even know anyone in the area. Her former school is a 90 minute drive away. All of her recent friends are cheerleaders at the All-Star cheer gym we take her to, and even that is quite a ways off.
The real solution will be to build the fence and put up security lights, as has been suggested here. We will be making that happen as soon as possible but until then, the house is on Defcon 4 status.
