Re: My dad is really my mom?

This is the biggest load of crap. I am all for freaks rights seriously, but its not a man its a woman. Period. what is the big deal. s/hehas all of herm's repro parts... well no falopian, but has a uterus, and if you read enough you will find that s/he was artificially inceminated. Thats the problem with the US today... they spend millons of man hours and dollars showcasing this trivial BS... and all the while the real stories go relatively unheard... what about the soldier who lost his arms who is rehabbing to hold his daughter with prosthetics, what about the single mother who keeps her kids off drugs... hell what about the group of $x4 fans who put together a custom rig so that the blind/deaf veterans can experience something phenominal... Corporate media BS.... gotta love it.. great now my BP is up...

Re: My dad is really my mom?

While this couple did something that may not be mainstream or what is thought of as "normal", but they are grown, consenting adults. However this child is brought into this world, he/she is being brought into the world by parents that went way above and beyond to have him. Maybe if everyone who is so upset and freaked out about this issue would take the energy they are spending on it and focus that energy on something that actually affects them ( the war, the economy, gas prices, home sales, their own children's schools, etc) maybe something could actually be changed in this world of ours. Time for all of us to stop worrying about everyone else.

100% agreed. My beef is with the media and their mountain of a mole hill mentality. They both have every right to have a family, but the spin that has been put on this story is rediculous.
