I didnt have anything to do with the actions you see in the video.
I just happend to have my video camera AND happend to be camped next to about 30 VERY intoxicated local's. I would have told them to stop....but we all know they would not have listened.
I do not condone drunkin recreation nor drinking and driving. I think this would be of an example NOT to drink and wheel/drink and drive/drink and think you are superman.
the sound that you hear upon impact is MOSTLY the pallet however I do believe the kid had a major concussion (sp?)
They later took him to the hospital and I never learned the outcome.
Setting aside the shear idiocy of that action this is a very good place to remind everyone. If someone has an accident while waring a helmet what ever you do DO NOT REMOVE THE HELMET! Let the EMTs or other qualified personnel deal with the situation.
Being a bike rider both dirt and street and an EMT I actually have stickers on my helmets that warn people not to remove my helmets. Loosening the chin strap is ok but do not try to pull it off the persons head.
I know the "subject" in this removed his own but I'm just using this as a good spot to remind people you can kill an injured person by removing their helmet.

I am surprised he was even smart enough to wear a helmet!
