I have seen it and it is so stupid and sad all at the same time. I stopped readying very quickly. Even if they something good to say I wouldn't listen or read that site again. What they have done is childish, to turn a debate into a joke and game because they can't find anything else to support their case/cause. If the idea of I.D. is that scary to some that they have to joke about it and create a designer that is made from Spaghetti then they are to childish for me to listen to or read. If they want to be taken serious then they need to be serious about the depate. It's sad, real sad. Especially since there science is lacking for proof of Macroevolution. But that has nothing to do with this movie and we can save it for a diffrent thread.

The movie is about free thinking and following the evidence and not the theory. At least thats what I understand from what I have seen and read. I will let you know what I think after I watch it tonight.

Re: Expelled

Just got back from watching this and I will say I thought it was very well done. And that Ben Stein took a very logical and fair approach to the hole thing.

I hope that you will go watch it, it is worth the time and money. Some may be turned off to it because of what it goes into toward the end of the film but even then its the truth and does apply. So go watch and tell me what you think. And NO its not about religion, God or a god, its about freedom.

***edit***
O ya I also saw an FJ in the movie.

Re: Expelled

Look on google and read the reviews.
The writers of the reviews seem very uneducated and sliiiiightly bias. The perfect combination for writing a review don't ya think?

Re: Expelled

Jeshua, I belive in evolution, whole heartedly, do not believe in religion(allthough I'm open to the possibility of god) That said, I agree with you that the left uses childish, smug and mean spirited atttacks on conservatism and religion. I'm am not trying to start an angry shout down. It just saddens me, when there is no longer a means to debate in our society, somehow we have all lost something essential to democracy, without a fight.

PS, the religious far right does the same childish things, instead of debating, I'm just say, because I'm sure someone will post "The right does it too" childish comeback.

PSS Two of my favorite political movies, Ctizen Ruth and Thank you for Smoking. Great equal oppurtunity offenders.
