Would Kobe be willing to risk serious injury or death for a commercial? I highly doubt it. The car was probably driven beside him as he performed the jump...a few digital edits and Voila! The guy does have a killer vert.....but I can't see him being dumb enough do such a risky stunt like that.

I heard today on the news that this might be fake because the shadow of the car is not where it should be which means that it was beside him... still don't know.

Given that the camera is on a rock steady mount, it would have been possible to shoot Kobe jumping and then have the car separately drive through the scene and then just merge the two sequences. Given the consequences of a screw up for the multi-multi-million dollar Lakers / NBA business, potentially loosing the NBA's best player in a season when his team could make the finals is unfathomable (I once saw a show where a dude screwed that trick up and tore his foot loose). Ehr, FAKE!

its a tough one I keep watching it the shadows look ok, But I don't see the light pole shadow go on to the car but the youtube logo is kind of in the way.
