Vampires and Werewolves oh my!
So my buddy got me to read
Necroscope by Brian Lumley in college eventhough I wasn't into Vampires. I LOVED the series but didnt read any other authors. I recently saw the movie Underworld and while not perfect I really liked it (was suprised it only gets a
30% on RottenTomatoes ); I hear the
sequel isn't as good but I think I still want to check it out. So my question to the FJers is, what other good Vampire and/or Werewolf movies and/or books would you recommend???

Can I just say the only reason I need to watch Underworld is . . . Kate Beckinsale ?

The original "The Legend" book might be worth a gander.

American Werewolf in London is a classic!
I really enjoyed Dusk Til Dawn for a different take on Vampire movies...Interview with the Vampire and Dracula were good for the regular fare...

Yeah, you're probably right...those movies are only of interest to someone who is hardcore into vampire movies such as myself
Some of the best were made in the 70's. Sounds like you are more into modern day remakes.
