very cool. there is a nice right up on a xd this month in guns & ammo. obviously not this one though. i have considered an xd. everyone that has one seems to love it.

No you're not. 1911 fanboys are what they are. Don't be ashamed of it.

Next time I need an overly heavy paperweight or need to bludgeon someone with a pistol, I might look at a 1911.....Or, I'll just get a 3lb. sledge.

Really? I've had to use it on just about EVERY vehicle I've owned....well, except the Lexus. Looks like I won't have to bother on that one since it's likely to be lemoned in the next month.

That would be me... I love the XD--still like the Sig's, but the XD fits amazingly well and is a very smooth fire, even brand new.
