Come on FJ#8. Is there really any super hero movie out there that can compare to Batman Begins? This movie redefined super hero movies and the one coming out this summer i think will be one of the best movies of 08.

If Ironman really can compare with Batman Begins, then i will need to go see it sooner than i anticipated.
Indeed it is I think equal to if not better than Batman begins! And I'm a big Batman Fan! You should indeed go see it sooner that you would anticipate!!!

Re: Freakin Ironman

I had some reservations about seeing this movie, but now after seeing it I would recomend it to everyone!

Great action, comedy (lab tests) and just plain old fun to watch!

Gweneth Paltro......WOW!

Re: Freakin Ironman

Marvel Studios announced their future releases:

Iron Man 2 - April 30, 2010
Thor - June 4, 2010
Captain America - May 6, 2011
The Avengers - July, 2011

And Iron Man was great, it should be held up there with first Superman, Batman, Batman Begins, and Spidey 2.

Re: Freakin Ironman

I would say this has been the most true to it's comic roots comic movie yet.

I was concerned about Robert Downey Jr. when I first heard he was first cast, the first trailer threw that concern out. I don't think anyone other then Downey could play Tony Stark.

I'm now looking forward to Hulk with Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, which will hopefuly make up for that previous borefest. (the most amusing part of that movie was watching a teenage chick throw up from to much southern comfort)

Now did anyone notice Sam Jackson in the movie?

Why the hell is nobody mentioning V For Vendetta? That is EASILY up there with Iron Man and Batman Begins.
Only because of the sub-par acting by that doof Natalie Portman (come on, how hard is it to carry off a British accent? What did they pay her??).

I'll probably wait for the DVD release of Iron Man, and watch it at home. I hate movie theaters, due to today's society's acceptance of behavior at theaters. I'd rather wait for the DVD, and watch it in silence and with my favorite beverages and snacks...

i would still put way at the top of the list (excellent)
Batman Begins and V for Vendetta

then (good)
IronMan, Hulk, XMen(s)

then (ok)
Spiderman, Fantastic 4

then (poor)
Punisher, Batman(w/ JackN), Batman(w/ JimC)

then (these TOTALLY stunk)
Daredevil, Electra, Batman(w/ ArnoldS)

I was kinda...just talking about how the story and V's acting and the rest played out, we all know Natalie is a looker, not a actor. Kinda like how Jenna Jameson, one of the most famous porn stars ever, is now going to be in a new movie...called...wait for it....

Zombie Strippers!!!!

"In the near future, a chemical virus is accidentally released from a secret government installation and infects Rhino's, a nearby underground strip club. When one of the performers, Kat (Jenna Jameson), turns into a flesh-eating member of the living dead, all the other girls are jealous when Kat becomes the most popular dancer. Despite mounting tension — and the disappearance of the club's patrons — owner Ian Essko (Robert Englund) refuses to shut down even as his girls succumb to peer pressure to turn into zombies themselves." LAWL! Totally chuggin some southern comfort before this one.

Re: Freakin Ironman

I really enjoyed the movie! I had a personal interest in seeing what happened to desert set in the opening of the movie.
Here I am enjoying the camo netting shade on the set.

My daughter says "Quiet on the set!!!"
