HI EVERYONE!!! I've missed you! Baylie is sleeping right now, "free time"!
Oh my gawd you guys - we have never been more in love. Baylie is just so awesome and amazing!!!
I was glad to keep you posted through Maureen and Angela - they are awesome!
So, the contractions woke me up that morning at about 5. As most of you know, I'd been having contractions for about a freaking month already. I woke Dan up and said, I'm taking a shower and we are going to the hospital to have this baby - I am done! WOW, my powers are amazing!
So, I figured I would be fine, done it before....knew what was going to happen, yadda, yadda. We get all prepped in OR and I get the oxygen mask on and I just start to cry. Yes everyone, Katfish gets scared. I was terrified. You just never know what might/can happen. UGH! SO, then about 5 minutes later - these things are so quick, I hear my sweet baby crying!! NOW, my tears are HAPPY!

Dan looked at me and asked, "can I go to her?" Of course!

He stayed with her and went to the nursery with her for all the cleaning and all the other stuff to make sure she is golden.
She was perfectly happy and healthy - and still is. We have taken her off of breastfeeding (um...those that said they would buy me beer in Ouray, better freaking start saving....). The deal is she lost her 10% body weight after delivery which most babies do, but as of yesterday she wasn't putting any back on. I'm not sure that she has actually been getting anything from "me"....SO, we gave her a bottle - man was she happy!!
She has such a different attitude just switching to formula. She was already content and happy, and now she is even moreso but with a full belly! AWESOME!
I love her! AND, she just woke up!
Here is a link to see some more pics of the princess!
...there are some of me on drugs in there, be warned!
