back from the kool-aid (that was funny) just in time... it's easy for people to say what there is and isn't "out there" but i challenge you or anyone else for that matter, to find a "peer-reviewed" scientific article (from a reputable journal or magazine) that disputes the validity of Global Warming, you wont. the scientific papers supporting these findings number in the hundreds if not thousands and are supported worldwide. A perfect example is the 2007 IPCC report which was compiled by hundreds of the worlds most renowned scientists and climatologists. what reason do we have to doubt their findings? ...and back to my kool-aid.

Dude, you're making the mistake of thinking that this is where you try and present the true state of the science. Maybe you're thinking: "my goodness, these good people just aren't getting to see the true state of the community and the cumulative state of current learning, and I should really jump in here and try to undertake some education." No! That's not what people want to hear. That's OK. This is a fun forum. Be it climate dynamics or biological evolution, it's best just to let it go. No one is listening and no one wants to change minds and certainly no one cares what the scientific consensus is. That's OK. This isn't school after all. It's a wonderful safe place where science just doesn't hold the way it does in the real world. Ah, I love the safety of the forum.
BTW: the actual original post in this thread by Frogeye was dead on: you CANNOT point to a single weather event and say "climate change". Beware of ANYONE who says "hot day today: climate change" or "big storm yesterday: climate change" - it defines not knowing what one is talking about (you have to accumulate a lot of weather events and look to see for trends to emerge from what is mostly white noise - ...but there I go again with that stupid "science". Duh, silly me... please resume the banter)
