Mrs FJDave wanted me to throw in her advice, but I just told her that Kat wanted no advice or encouragement. But she said the pump should be used to drop the internal pressure down, and try to feed the milk to your daughter in addition to the formula. She stopped breast feeding at 10 months, when our son wondered what effect his new teeth would have.....OUCH!

Let her know, the pump made me feel like a million bucks and now Baylie is getting breast and formula....both from a bottle!

Re: Breast Feeding "Does Not Hurt"....

It gets better, or so says my wife. Our son is 10 days old, and each day has been better than the last. Be patient.

Re: Breast Feeding "Does Not Hurt"....

I could use a bottle right about now, but with Kaluah....hey, it resembles milk, right?

I'm so glad you feel better! My wife had a C-section with our son, and it took a while for her to recover from that. Couple that with the pain from da boobs when feeding, and man, that would really suck! But I'm a man....I had to re-type this thing 8 times before my wife said I could post it....what do I know? Well, I know enough NOT to get stuck on the couch at night I guess.....
