No this is at roach harbor.. a few miles north of the actual town of friday harbor.. I spent a lot of time there a couple summers ago. my grandpa lives there, and my parents are going to retire up there.

It's nice.. but not nice enough for a CA kid like me. I need 85 degree, dry heat days. cold and cloudy.. i just can't do it.

It's awesome up there! But, you're right, not a lot of sun. If you go to Sequim or Port Angeles they get a lot more because they're in the rain shadow of the mountains to the east and the north. Still, it's about twice what we get in an average year.

I've been researching.

Their property taxes are double what we pay here and they don't lock them in a la Prop 13 so Washington got knocked off the list of places to move.
