Bucket List

Have ya'll done this before here? I checked the search feature and couldn't find anything...sooo...I thought it would be interesting to read what some of you have always dreamed of doing before...well...you know! I once met a guy who had a list of 50 things he wanted to do before he "kicked the bucket". One of his wishes was to ride on a nuclear-powered submarine, so, my C.O. at the time arranged for him to do just that. I always thought that was pretty cool! BTW - the guy with the list - Lou Holtz.

That being said....I'll start off: One of the things I've always wanted to do is dive the Great Barrier Reef off Australia. I'll do it one day, but for now just a dream.

Cheers!

Tim

Re: Bucket List

I have made a small version of this list. To be able to do all the major board sports. Wakeboard, skateboard, snowboard, surfboard. I have yet to have the chance to learn how to surf. But it is next on the list.

Re: Bucket List

It's too difficult narrowing it down to only 50 things. Would depression set in when you get close to the end . . . thinking, "Is this all there is to life ?" There will always be a few things that are out-of-reach and you will always think of new things to add so I think the "bucket list" must be always changing as you move more significant goals onto the list and some less significant goals off the list. Life is too short.

I would like to visit the far end of the earth . . . Antarctica that is.

"The bucket list"

[Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson speaking in unison]

"the list of things to do before you hit the bucket"

I love that line for its comedic value. Never seen the movie though

I think I am too young to compile a list though

That's pronounced "bouquet".

Re: Bucket List

I have a hell of a lot more time than most others on this forum (technically speaking).

So, i have a high-risk list:

1st (most importantly): Take my future vette past 200mph at bonneville (i will have my vette.. no matter what, even if it means selling the FJ)
2nd: Road trip across the US of A.
3rd: Skydive
4th: Bungie jump
5th: Learn to fly.. then fly a p-51.
