98 degrees

Well folks it's 98 degrees on the porch (East Tennessee-in the shade) and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. It hasn't been this hot, this early, in years.. Ron

Re: 98 degrees

We hit 110 once then 108. Thing is.....many, many of the other days this past month or so have been lower than average.

Love it.

Re: 98 degrees

It's the humidity that kills us here. It's been between 85% and 90% for days. Ron

I spent the first 35 years of my life in Indiana....and now that I've spent a few years in Socal, I'm not sure I could deal with the humidity again. Get out of the shower, dry your hair....get back in the shower to wash the sweat off! When I visit now, (family is all still there) I go in late Fall when the weather is perfect...and so is the scenery!

98 F.......might.......just might see that temp middle to end of July.

After that it is a slippery slope into winter.

It is not the 100 degree days.....it is the LONG stretch of 110 and above days when the night time low is mid to uppers 90s.

Even when it is a so called "dry" heat, those weeks can become suffocating.
