Someone stole my F250 crew cab!

This weekend while at the Great Wolf Lodge (near Cabelas) in Kansas City, someone stole my favorite pickup truck of all time. It was a 2001 Platinum Edition (two tone grey and silver) diesel Crew Cab SWB Pickup with a topper.

What someone would want with a 25 foot behemoth with 125,000 miles on the odometer is beyond me.

There were no video cameras in the parking lot, no broken glass....whoever took it knew what they were doing.

We are very sad, it was a trusted member of the family and the business. (except below 10 degrees). We have insurance but it will be hard to replace such a nice truck for the pathetic blue book value it has.

I will post pictures later today...if anyone sees it let me know.

Doc

Re: Someone stole my F250 crew cab!

Sorry about your truck. Cabelas here in Glendale has had bunches of F-250's stolen the past couple of years. They take them right to the border and use them to bring in people and drugs. I hope you get it back soon.

Wow Doc, sorry to hear about your truck. Looks like the "professionals" are working further and further from "the border" these days.

That engine was just about broken in with 125k on it...shame that you will not see it to the end, as I'm sure the truck had many more reliable miles to go.

Hope you get it sorted in short order sir

"Professionals" means more than one "professional".
