wow is all i can say. this car is probably the most balanced, as far as practicality and performance is concern. why can't toyota make a 4 banger sedan like this?!
LOL, I just test drove one of those on Wednesday, local dealer has 3 of them on the lot. I'm looking for a replacement for the MINI once the warranty is up in 6 months or so. I used to have a '99 Si and it was one of the best cars I ever had (excellent resale value too I learned) I was seriously dissapointed with the last generation (loved the hatch styling, inside and out, but hated the handling, and went to MINI) but this most recent iteration is the best handling Si yet, not as tight handling as the MINI, but it's a much larger and more practical car. Really was impressed, however, the Speed 3 is up there on my list as well, and for almost the same price as the Si. When it's all said and done, I'll probably end up with another MINI (because of the MINI rallys that are so darn much fun). But the Si will get some serious thought.
I got one (EX) in the beginning of OCT. Had to replace a car quick (Volvo) that needed 5G worth of work and was worth 5G. I've had 3 civics and still have 2. Well kinda, the oldest kid is driving my 91 Si. Wanted to wait for the Si but they told me it was up to 4 months. Next time. This 4Dr rocks though. Got 42 MPG on the highway on Thanksgiving vacation on the way up. Dropped back to 35 on the way back though. Head wind and 80 I guess will do that. Styling is: you either like it or you don't. Jet fighter ****pit is what my daughter calls it.....

They do! It's called the Scion tC. I drove one for a year and a half and LOVED it.
well, the tC is a coupe, plus it's fat pig right out of the box compared to the Si, I was shopping tCs when I was looking a couple of years ago. The tC has got a nice smooth engine and reasonable handling, but it weighs more than the Si, has less power and handles like a typical toyota, (oversteer, lack of feedback, overboosted) and doesn't even have the quick low speed responses it's little brothers do (xA, xB), it also has the typical toyota Genesis program cheap hard plastic interior like the FJ. That being said, it also costs a whole lot less than the Si and can be made to handle as well or better than the Si and still cost less. I had an xA for a year that I was using as a commuter car, it was pretty fun, decent handling at low speeds excellent gas mileage, but I hit a bear in the town of bear creek coming home from Wilkes-Barre and that was the end of the xA. Then I had a Honda Fit, which just blows the xA away in every category, inside styling, functionality, handling and acceleration. Hands down the Fit is one awesome car. I traded the Fit in when I bought the FJ, and I was wondering why they gave me so much for it (paid $15100, traded for $14,800 w/ 10,000 miles on it), turns out there's a 6 month waiting list on those and I probably could have gotten $17k on cars.com. Bottom line, hondas handle better than toyotas out of the box, they've got different design philosophies, honda tries to remain sporty to avoid getting the reputation that toyota has for making boring cars. In an effort to shed that image, toyota created scions, and to some extent, the FJ.
07 , they didnt even flinched off the msrp. at least they didnt gouge. black with nav..nav is okay with xm.its not fully touch screen (nothing can beat lexus/toyota navs) . its already short shifting, (my fj's trd feels shorter tho.)seats are awesome if you fit in it, all-state ins. considers it a sports car ,wtf?!..terrible in snow with all-season stock. i spun 180 in the hiway along with ford exploders.
