Question What was you 2nd choice when purchasing the FJ?

Most of us don't buy a vehicle without comparing various models.
So, what was you 2nd choice (or more) when you were considering to buy your FJ Cruiser?

Re: What was you 2nd choice when purchasing the FJ?

There was no other vehicle. The only vehicle I wanted to purchase was a FJ Cruiser! Didn't want to nor needed to look at anything else!

Re: What was you 2nd choice when purchasing the FJ?

I had no serious second choice ... unless you consider choice of color a second choice. I looked through the other SUV's (particularly the 4Runner and some smaller SUVs), but this was the only one that caught my attention and held it for any length of time. Considering the fact that I wanted a manual tranny and a rear cargo hold that had enough clearance for my great danes, AND that fared well (or was expected to fare well) on safety ratings & reliability, my choice of SUVs was quite limited. But that's ok, I loved the look/feel of this truck when I first laid eyes on it, and haven't looked back.

Planned mods: moose-catcher (LOL: front bumper with full bull bar & lights), black skidplates
(probably Budbuilts), Gobi Stealth rack & lights, suspension with lift (either Allpro or Donahoe),
better tires with wheels (probably Destination A/T's), DIRT 'n' FUN!!
Jezebel, my 5MT 1997 VW Golf, was laid to rest.
Tried 'n' true MT girl - LOVING my FJC!!

No second choice...already had a '99 Tacoma....the FJ was the only reason to part with my truck.

There was no second choice. I saw one last summer and decided that the FJC was my next vehicle.
