Re: Are we all old truck fans?

I have been working on RestoModing a '52 Willys Wagon. I have a 76 Wagoneer Frame and running gear, that I hope to mount the Willys body to. Currently have a AMC 401 block at the machine shop. I was hoping to get her done this year, but buying the FJ had delayed my plans by a few years.

Re: Are we all old truck fans?

Still have our 1977 FJ40 "MuMu" with less that 100K on her. See aviatar on left :-)

In the process of selling a 1982 FJ60 and a 1992 FJ80 which our new Titanium MT6 is replacing.

Will never sell the 40 and will probably keep the FJ a long time also.

Flotation is far more important that traction on the sand.
Reduce your tire pressure to provide a wider foot print. You can always add a compressor for a quick pump after you get off of the dune.

Hello chewey46 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

So far I've seen one person w/ an old Bronco and 76 Land Cruiser, an International Harvester (what a beast that is), and I have a '65 Land Rover. Any other old trucks that you guys have? Toyota seems to have really done their homework by turning a lot of old truck lovers into fans of this brand new truck...smart move. What other old trucks do you guys have?
I sure am a sucker for a well executed old Bronco. Really ahead of their time. Learned to offroad in a IH, anyone else heard rumers of a new IH Scout in 08?
