need information on 1974 fj40

I am looking at a 1974 fj40, I would like to restore it to "usable" condition. What is the scoop on these , can I find parts at a reasonable price , and what should I look out for that would make it not worth getting into. They look like great work vehicles.. don't want to retire the new fjc to a work truck just yet.

Yes you can practically start with a frame and build them but some parts are not cheap If you want OEM but most parts are available from after market sources at a significantly lower price

For any and all FJ questions and advice call Jay at TLC in Van Nuys Calif. 800-579-9776. TLC takes care of my FJC and they are THE best in resto for elder FJ's.
