'08 Land Cruiser: Off-road vehicle or Hot Rod

0-60 in 6.5 seconds and loaded with off road technology and capabilities. Are you kidding me? This new Land Cruiser is impressive.

Re: '08 Land Cruiser: Off-road vehicle or Hot Rod

I'll have to wait for it to be 15 years old with 100k miles before I can afford that model. Certainly priced for a specific buyer. Impressive rig....saw it at the Toyota 50th anniversary.

I'd like to see a Trail team edition on one of those. I bet it'd be an interesting looking rig with some ARB and Warn accessories.

Re: '08 Land Cruiser: Off-road vehicle or Hot Rod

Totally missing the boat on that one! My best 4X4s have always been 0-60 in 45 min. with low end torque that could wrap a moose slowly and neatly around a PTO shaft. The Landcruiser is supposed to be for off road, not dragging. If yota wants to do fast cars they should bring back the supra

It better be at least a second quicker than the FJ for more than twice the cash. $63,000 and change, and that's just a base model. $73,000 and change fully loaded! Yikes!

I'd totally rock one, but they need a more reasonably priced stripped model, honestly.

It's a shame that the Land Cruiser has become a super-luxury SUV in this country. They should keep that stuff under the Lexus brand.
