When you were 15....

What car/truck did you dream of owning? Have you actually had your hands on the steering wheel of one? Did you achieve the dream????

Me, I wanted a 64 1/2 Mustang. My Dad and Mom had the first one in Charleston, SC, where I was born and spent most of my life. I never have gotten one, never put my hands on the steering wheel of one but hey, life ain't over yet.

My next dream was probably a Mercedes convertible. Never got that one either, but I did finally get my OLD car, my '91 Miata. White with a Black Robbins top. I tinker with "Jimmy" but don't drive him much.

The FJ really rocked my world though and I don't think I will stray from that for a very very long time.

How about you guys/gals?

What did you want?

Re: When you were 15....

Do you mean "15" chronologically or mentally?

If it's mentally, I'll have to let you know.
If it's chronologically, I don't remember 'cause I was probably inebriated at the time.
But, Porsche and Ferrari have always been at the top of the list. Maybe when I turn 15 I can get one.

Re: When you were 15....

I wanted a Porsche 911 or a '69 Dodge Charger (R/T or Daytona.) I own a 911 now and I have sat in/on, Dukes of Hazzard style, an authentic used in the series General Lee. Too bad the Chargers are soooooo freaking expensive now, I would love to add that to the stable.
