Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

I have ranted over my disapointment with Jeep before, but I ran across this the other day and briefly considered changing my stance.

Re: Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

No thanks, it looks to much like the current JK. Which IMO is a radical departure from jeeps true heritage. Slanted windshied, huge plastic fenders, and worst of all, the 7 slat grille is now slanted. All jeep did was take alot of styling cues and even some parts like the 3.8L V-6 from the dodge minivan, and obvious older jeep liberty styling. Thats not new, thats GAY!

Man that felt good!!!

Re: Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

You can buy conversion kits to turn your jeep into a pickup. It's called the "Brute".

Here's a pick

Re: Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

The problem with the brute is paying 10 bazillion $$$$ to do something to your jeep that you can accomplish by pulling the back seat out.

I don't know why but I find my self drooling over that JT. Maybe it's the desert tan paint job. I love militaryish looking anything

Re: Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

Without considering cost, for an off-road toy, I would definitely consider it.

The cab would be very cramped though without the space behind the driver that a regular J**p has.

Re: Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

Those super-short bed pickups are kind of dumb; you just can't carry
much back there and usually would be better off with some sort of
hatch-back. They look cute--- like the Subie Baja and the Explorer
Sport variant. But unless you're an electrician or some such, they're
just not much for getting anything hauled.

Besides, if you have a JEEP you need a Toyota pickup to drive behind
it and retrieve the parts as they fall off.

Re: Would you buy a Jeep JT pickup?

Hate the JT, love the Brute, better lines.

I used to really like the Comanche (real pickup Jeep), I would have owned one of those back in the 90's but they discontinued them...

The Doors come off, Roof off, & Windshield folded,(SFA) & .... Jeep still a Jeep not like what Toyota went & did they made the Mod Squad FJ.. Should of looked like this & they would of hit it Big:
