Possible purchase of '96 80series w/ lockers

Members,
Can anyone shed some light on the purchase price of this Craigslist LC? I'm thinking it might be a good addition to my Toyota fleet (FJ and 100 series).
Thanks,
BendFJ

Very sweet vehicle. I had a '93. The only downside is the 6 cylinder engine is substantially underpowered and the weight of the vehicle makes it an absolute necessity to check the brake pads at least every 15,000 miles (and usually means swapping them out at those intervals). Since you've got a 100 series you know how rugged they are. There's a ton of aftermarket options available for the 80 series and they make for terrific dedicated off-road vehicles (especially with the front and rear locker option). The price seems quite reasonable for what its got on it.

Wow that's a sweet rig! I love the 80 series trucks, especially the fzj with the efi engine and diff lock option. I steered away from them due to the fact that the truck needed to be a daily driver (the engines are definitely anemic as previously mentioned, and the guzzle fuel like crazy)... but for a dedicated trail rig, they are awesome.

I'd like to add one to the fleet someday... this particular one looks awesome.

Re: Possible purchase of '96 80series w/ lockers

I would be ALL OVER that. We have been looking for a 96-97 LC 80 series with lockers and most of the ones we have seen are high miles and/or abused.

If i only lived in oregon...lol

Great looking truck. I looked at them a bit and found prices similar for stock rigs with a lot of daily driver rash. This one looks like a good deal. Would be worth going to look at in person...at least!

I'll never get why Toypta stopped making that body style. I say go for it if you have the funds.

OK here is the deal... my wife said "go for it! It's really nice and when you sell your FJ, we won't have a car payment anymore!" Anyone want a TI loaded with everything, exp-1 bumper, Pro Comps, MTR's, Cooper M&S's studded on alloys( 100 miles on 'em), Superwinch, OME heavy set up, magnaflow, dirty parts dual battery. Give me a offer!
