Tibaal89, where is that second shot from? That lake is beautiful.
Thanks, that's Somewhere in the upper penn. of Michigan, don't know exactly where. I would randomly eat lunch on the shore of Lake Superior when I lived in Milwaukee...

Here's my (former, got stolen) '04 Sportster... big bore, headwork, cams, etc.

Terrible handling + horrid brakes + MONSTROUS power = good fun

I love both of those! The Vic is just too damn sexy and a properly done Sportster really gets me. I'm hoping to trade my Suzuki C90 for the new C109. Nothing like an 1800 for under 14K. My old silly arse and back can't take riding sport bikes any more. I'll take a low and slow torqy V- Twin any day!

Here's my old ride.

Someone asked about Cali roads? This is Azusa Mountains near Crystal Lake.

Is there an emoicon for me picking my slobbering tongue off the ground. Why on earth would you sell that beauty? Italian beauty, fast, and built for a long ride...what's not to love.

Re: Why Guys with Motorcycles Ride...

OK, got me here.....course, you do have my avatar which is my super comp bike that I have sold & will be delivering today to an air freight company in Tampa to go to Omaha, NE.... I'll miss her, she was good to me and my first "big tire" drag bike. Currently we are building, well C&W Cycle Works is, a Pro Mod bike for competition in the ADRL this year. FYI: we run the 1/8th mile in ADRL & C&W currently holds the world record at 4.22 @ 160+ mph in the 1/8th and 6.61 @ 204mph in the 1/4 mile.

Yes, drag racing a motorcycle is a special kind of crazy....

I started out at 5yrs old with my dad bringing home a Honda QA-50 and never looked back, had a bike of some sort ever since. Raced motocross, supercross, supersport and dragraced bikes. Currently I have a couple bikes for the street, a 2005 Kawasaki ZX12R Ninja and a 2007 Big Dog Pitbull rigid. The best of both worlds so to speak! I would rather ride the Pitbull 99 times out of a 100 because it is just wicked sweet, remarkably comfortable for a rigid and is one bad*ss attention getter! Ok, I will admit it, I am an attention whore.....lol

And yes: Hi, my name is Spencer, I am addicted to motorcycles and there is no recovery.....LOL

Re: Why Guys with Motorcycles Ride...

I've thought about getting a bike, because apparently if you ride one, the rules dont apply to you. If someones going too slow for your tastes in a no passing zone, you can pass them. Or just weave in and out of traffic. Im sure most bikers are sensible, but you only remember the idiots.

Generally the boneheads are the crotch-rocket 20 something crowd. Harley guys are by far safer drivers, as their main concern is if they have the poser image right. (mandatory goatee/black t-shirt/bandana on head/leather/HD logo on every item of clothing they own, etc..) That whole thing where they all dress the same and think theyre unique just kills me. Love my dirt bike, but no interest in ever driving one on-road. I always give bikers wide berth though, amazes me when I see Joe Hummer riding some dudes ass.
