Re: Yaris

Im driving a rental yaris on business.

Have you noticed that it takes it forever to shift when you punch at the start of getting on the freeway? Like around 60 mph?

How much did it run you?

My other car is a volvo and im getting about 30 or 31 mpg.

Thanks

Mines an automatic (Liftback)....its quick! (relatively speaking)
Shifts perfectly ...plenty of pickup , fun to drive , amazing gas mileage , I really like it.

Got it out the door ......all included...
$13,250..done.

Only complaints...road noise , kinda high insurance.

Re: Yaris

Cool!! I got really lucky, I was driving about 500 miles a week with my current job, but I am changing jobs on the 12th. The new company pays for all my gas!!! I get to keep the FJ and get 285 BFG ATs!!!!

We just bought one!!! 38MPG.....5 speed has no power issues getting around. We drive point A to B only.
Drive FJ on weekends and outages to trails.

Re: Yaris

I wasn't saying it doesn't have power. I just thought the automatic seemed different when trying to shift around 60 mph. Nothing bad, my coworker also made a comment. Seems like it doesn't want to get out of 3rd or 4th gear or whatever the 2nd to last gear is.

Fun car!!!
