Re: *drool*

I just test drove one at the Dover Race. Hard to say how much power and how the handling is as they only let us go 10MPH. Very nice looking car though. Comfortable too. I think they have it over priced though and the dealers are already adding onto the MSRP! Kind of like the FJ when it first came out.

Re: *drool*

The first year is limited production and the hemi is the only available engine in the first year. I have already read of some folks going into dealers to reserve one of them only to find out the dealers want $15-20K premium. What sucks about that is that the dealer will make the big money while the manufacturer is the one that really needs this extra profit to stay in business.

Here's a couple of good pics of one of the prototypes in drag configuration with stealthy-suede paint jobs:

Re: *drool*

Why come out with a classic muscle car and make it an Auto, do they at least have a paddle shift or something to play with??

Re: *drool*

Too bad Chrysler forgot how to build transmissions and provide customer service. If its like the one in my wife's 2 wheel drive 6 cyl Grand Cherokee, it will be rebuilt before it reaches 20,000 miles (98% of them highway with the rest in our neighborhood)!! Just think what will happen to the trans with a little more power. Then each time the owner takes in in for repair they will give some excuse - its not doing it now bring it back when it is doing it - the oil dripping is from the oil that ran down during the oil change - etc. I know my family will not be be buying anything built by them for a long, long time.
