Saw this THING

Saw this at the beach thought it was cool. It was in awsome condition and was an attention getter.

Re: Saw this THING

I had a Thing many years ago. Great for easy pickup lines like:

"Wanna see my Thing?"

"Would you like to sit on my Thing?"

"What do you think of my Thing?"

"Would you like to drive my Thing?"

"I have a Thing for you."

etc., etc. ad nauseum...

My Thing gets a little bumpy when riding.

I does look cool. I would love to own one. I also like the old VW bus.

Re: Saw this THING

How about an old VW Single Cab? This is my Home Depot/Lowes home improvement go getter.

Drives great, but you need to drive it like a motorcycle since you ARE the crush space in the event of an accident.

Thanks. It gets better though because the back is flat 5' x 8-1/2' with no wheelwells to get in the way AND its rated at a 1 ton payload. The folks at HD couldn't believe it when I put on 30 square of shingles and the suspension barely moved.

If you were to roll this, I am thinking you might just get a real bad hair cut.
No roll bar, at all. Might look cool, but not to safe IMO...

I love the Thing. It's in my list of dream cars. Someday I'd love to own a Thing!
