Please Let Us Know of Any Shady/Fraudulent Sellers

Though there is nothing we can really do in cases where sellers are not making good on their sales, we want to keep an eye on those people. Please let us know if you have anything like this happen. Thanks!

MikeC, sold me a scan gauge without mentioning the rear plug for it was bareley working and is pretty much usless. Don't expect to get any working parts from this member and or have any honest transactions. This is (MikeC) not (Mike C) from NY.

It appears that MikeC has taken/stolen money from me for a OEM skid Plate. He has stopped returning PM's with me and said the item was shipped on 2/1 and I never received the item or a number to track it.

In good faith I sent him a last attempt PM yesterday informing him of my next set of actions if I heard no responce from him and again, no response!

Let's hope he fell off the face of the earth and shipped my item prior to!

I think I got burned by BostonFJ on a Gobi ladder. I was told the ladder was shipped but I never got a tracking numbert after requesting it. He has since stopped replying to my emails.

I'd like to believe the majority of people on here are 100% honest but this has left a sour taste in my mouth. I won't be participating in any more buy and sell transactions unless they are through a sponsoring vendor. Live and learn.

Why not look into adding the iTrader add-on to the forum, it allows people to leave feedback (like ebay) on anyone they have done a transaction with.

But maybe it would be a better idea to let only moderators see the shady ones and set it up so they cannot post anymore sales on here, that way in case of freight problems, or other issues the moderators can work them out, otherwise someone might get a name burned by mistake. just my 2 cents.

If they give a bad deal or bad parts then put the slam to them. however it is a bad thing that even one person gets a bad part. But it maybe should also state that when someone puts a part on forsale and it has issues it should be brought forward before the transaction, no sense in selling a part that is faulty to another forum member, help me out veterans

People will always be able to contact others with things to sell items through PM's though. Having a rating showing the seller's past deals is a VERY good idea IMO.
